Web Devil is a tool for downloading web sites for offline browsing, extracting web site images, backgrounds, HTML, JavaScript, Shockwave, etc., helping to maintain web sites for content authors, and more. It also has filtering capabilities, so it only downloads what you want, and has a simple to use interface.

Just enter a URL and it downloads the content with a single click. It contains several powerful tools for downloading and processing web content with ease, including an URL and e-mail extractor, batch URL downloader, incremental downloader, and more. You can also view web content directly within the app using the HTML and QuickTime viewer tools.

Web Devil 5.5 changes:

  • Added ability to "throttle" Web Devil so it only creates a connection as often as you like, instead of as fast as possible. This makes Web Devil more compatible with certain web sites that only allow a fixed number of connections in a certain time interval.
  • WebTimer has been rewritten in Cocoa and is now included free with Web Devil. A $10 value! This applications runs on Mac OS X only.
  • Updated the UserGuide to reflect new features and Mac OS X screenshots.
