Searching through multiple disks for a specific file or folder is a headache that most Macintosh users have faced at one time or another. CatFinder is a utility that solves that problem and many more by maintaining catalogs of your disks on the local hard drive.

Using CatFinder, you can quickly find which disk contains a desired file and even launch the file from within CatFinder. The program features an intuitive Finder-like interface for browsing catalogs and provides powerful search and reporting features to help you find and organize your files.

Features include the ability to catalog any disk including CD ROMs, floppys, ZIP disks, and hard drives. Display and sort files by name, size, disk free space, dates, type, creator, kind, or label. Perform file search based on name, size, kind, type, creator, date, or label. Generate reports for export or printing. Prints disk labels.
