PowerTerm CE provides host access to telecommuters and field agents who require mobile access to critical systems while on the road as well as from the office.

PowerTerm CE supports a full line of terminal emulations, such as IBM, Digital, Wyse, Data General and Televideo. It works with a wide range of handheld devices using the following processors: Hitachi (SH3, SH4), ARM and MIPS families.

PowerTerm CE provides host access to handheld PC users, enabling them to connect to applications residing on a variety of hosts including IBM AS/400, IBM Mainframe, Unix, DEC and others. Various communication modes are offered, including Telnet TN3270E (SNA over TCP/IP) TN5250, TCP/IP and WinSock.

The following is a list of the latest improvements and changes:

  • Terminal Setup is displayed with a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
  • Autowrap character is implemented.
  • Keyboard mapping is displayed with a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
  • Status Bar is displayed.
  • Soft (functional) buttons are operable.
  • PowerTerm Scripting language (PSL) with over 100 commands are available.
