Palm Desktop, for users running handheld Palm Pilots on PCs using Windows 95/NT 4.0. Features include an improved date book application, a new file link for automatic synchronization, and better HotSync technology.

Users upgrading from PalmPilot Desktop 2.0/2.1 with HotSync Manager 2.0, or from Pilot Desktop 1.0 with HotSync Manager 1.0/1.1. Note any conduit applications which have been installed on your desktop PC to synchronize with other PIM (personal information manager) applications may no longer work. If the conduit relies on HotSync Manager version 1.x or 2.0, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the conduit software to obtain a version compatible with HotSync Manager 3.0 before installing the Palm Desktop 3.0 software.

Palm Desktop 3.0 is licensed as freeware and is therefore free to download, use and keep.
