Visual Function Explorer 1.12 beta

License:Demo OS:Win 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000
Rating: Rated 4 Stars. Submitted:11 Apr 2001
File Size:425 kB

Visual Function Explorer is designed for building 2D plots and exploring functions' behaviour by moving, shrinking and stretching their plots interactively.

The main features of the program are a multi document interface, building of up to 16 graphs in the same window, interactive exploring, setting label on the plots, hatching areas, multiply coordinate spaces handling, declaring your own variables and subexpressions, and making calculations with the powerful built-in calculator.

The core idea of the program is functions exploring by 'crawling' along the curves using keyboard arrows and typing nothing. You just hold Ctrl-Right and it moves right, or Shift-Up and it shrinks before your eyes. All the labels and hatches are redrawn automatically.

Visual Function Explorer is a convenient tool for visual teaching and self studying mathematics through visualisations.

This download is the free trial version of Visual Function Explorer. The full version can be purchased directly from the author. See program documentation for details.
