Sonique is an excellent windows audio player capable of handling Microsoft Windows Media files, MP3 files, audio CDs, and more.

It fuses a highly stylized aesthetic with a fluid, windowless interface and fully animated menu systems. Additional functionality includes a full-featured playlist editor, a variety of unique output visualization modes via plug-ins, and a robust control set featuring pitch, balance and amplification adjustment, as well as a 20-band equalizer with spline-based level adjustment.

Sonique supports many audio formats, including MP3, WMA, OGG, S3M, MOD, IT, XM, WAV, and CD-Audio formats.

This new release includes an updated MP3 decoder (AE4.8), a PCM Equalizer, Pentium III & Athlon optimizations, an integrated tag editor, updated EQ load/save, updated Spectrum 2 visual, a new .wav writer, and a number of fixes.

Sonique is licensed as freeware and is therefore free to download, use and keep.
