Twin Folders is a files and directories synchronization utility. If you are working on two different computers, for example a desktop and notebook, then you need to keep your work files up-to-date on both computers. This synchronizer will do just that.

Simply run the synchronization before or after you have used any of your computers and forget the headache. Using twin Folders is very easy, all the work is done in 3 simple steps:
1. Select first folder (e.g. folder on local computer).
2. Select second folder (e.g. shared folder on network computer).
3. Click the Synchronize button to make the contents of the two folders equal.

If your computers are not connected via a network, you can use a different method to synchronize files on them. Use removable media such as a CD-RW disk. First, synchronize files between one computer and the removable media (create a copy of your work folder on removable disk), then take the removable disk to another computer and synchronize files again between the removable disk and the second computer.

Twin Folders can also be used for data backup. Keep a copy of your work folder on a backup device such as a removable CD-RW disk, then use the program to synchronize files between your computer and the backup device. If data restore is required, you can do this by synchronizing the folders again. Any files that were lost on your computer will be copied from the backup device automatically.
